Chiric Sanango Dry Herb || Brunfelsia grandiflora

Chiric sanango is a nightshade plant with a long history of use in South America where it grows abundantly. Traditional healers have used this plant for the treatment of a wide range of ailments, and it is considered a master plant,  whom students may learn from through the practice of shamanic dieta, a strict period of commitment to the chosen plant. 
 
Chiric deals with energy blockages in the back, dislodging patterns and aligning the spine. It may aid in treating arthritis or stiffness in the joints.  It is also known as the cold plant, and will cause the body to shake, extracting fear, stored as ‘coldness’ from deep within the body. It is a firm teacher that should not be ignored or crossed. Working with this plant involves discipline, and in exchange you can learn strength from the bones of your being.

This is considered a very powerful plant, both spiritually and physically, and is approached with a very high amount of caution and respect in its traditional setting. This is not for the faint hearted.
