Pau Pereira || Yamanawa || Shamanic Rapé

Pau Pereira || Yamanawa || Shamanic Rapé

An aromatic blend of various plant ashes used historically in South America by shamans and healers for cleansing, healing, and grounding as well as an adjunct in shamanic rituals. The plant matter used is rendered into a fine and pure ash where other medicines are then added into it.

The 'Pao periera' blend of rapé, (pronounced har-pay) is a strong mix which may help to stimulate the senses with the synergy of Pau pereira (Geissospermum vellosii, a folk medicine tree) and the magic Raiha.

Sourced from the Yawanawa/Yawanawa tribe in the South-Western Brazil Amazon region between Bolivia and Peru near Acre along the Gregoria river. The Yawanawa are the 'people of the wild boar', and hold a strong belief in shamanism. Rapé is known as 'Rume' to the Yawanawa people, and the key ingredient they use is many of their blends is Tsunu bark, also spelt Txunú, which is a supportive plant with healing properties.

Please note this is the rapé only, and the kuripe pipe is not included.
Sold as incense/offerings for ritual & ceremony only.
