Dodonaea viscosa var. angustifolia Seed || Sticky Hops Bush

Dodonaea viscosa is native to Australia & Africa. It has been used traditionally by Australian First Nation's people to treat toothache, cuts, stingray stings and as a stimulant.

 

Early settlers also used it for the treatment of colds, influenza, sore throats, stomach aches, measles, pneumonia, tuberculosis, to induce sweating or relieve fevers through a leaf decoction or topically for itchy skin. In Africa it is considered a very important traditional herbal medicine.

Dodonaea loves full sun. It is a well suited to the Australian climate and is present in most states of the country.
