The warming & pungent herb Angelica, the bear medicine. Once considered the most curing of herbs, a plague curative, 'The Root of the Holy Ghost'. There are many species of Angelica, and we see common threads between the Genus that paint a picture of her spirit. This plant has a rich history of use in First Nations North American medicine, as well as its cousin species being used similarly worldwide, showing up in Traditional Chinese Medicine and European herbalism. Energetically, Angelica brings warmth to a hollowness inside man or woman. Angelica brings balance. Her affinity is with the blood.
